Simple Past Tense

Simple Past Tense

Simple past tense is a tense that used in the past time. 

Pattern:

1.Positive(+): S + V2
Example :&nbs;
•I eaten 
She cooked
They run
It lost

2.Negative(-): S + did not + V1
Example:
I did not understand
She did not sing
They did not play
It did not work

3.Question(?): Did + S + V1
Example:
Did he go?
Did they play? 

Note: After following the pattern you can add an object to complete the sentences
Example : 
a. She cooked the noodles
b. I did not understand the materials
c. Did he go to the office?

Simple present tense  is a tense that used in present or now. (the activity that happens right now)

Pattern:
Positive(+)   : S + V1 (s/es)
Example : 
I/We/They go  (Singular)
She/He/It goes  (Plural)

Negative(-)  : S + DO/DOES + NOT + V1

Example:
I/We/They do not read  (Singular)
She/He/It does not read  (Plural)

Question(?)  : DO/DOES + S + V1
Example:
Do I/We/They  drink?  (Singular)
Does She/He/It drink?  (Plural)

Note: After following the pattern you can add an object to complete the sentences
Example : 
a) I/We/They go to the office
b) She/He/It does not read the book 
c) Do I/We/They  drink the coffee?
